Rewarded Points for the Following:

Grade Point Average – you will receive as many points as your grade point average

            i.e. Grade Point Average 3.2 = 3.2 points

200-word essay – Topic: Your vision of the future, and your input on it?

   A minimum of three of our board members will read and assign a point value of 1 – 10 pts. 

   Essay could be worth 30 pts. total

Hispanic Heritage = 10 pts.

Related to HPOA member = 10 pts.

Related to a retired or active Law Enforcement Officer = 5 pts.

Seeking a Degree in Law Enforcement = 20 pts.

Seeking a Degree in Public Safety Areas = 10 pts.

Please have all information typed and submitted to us by July 31^th.  The scholarship will be awarded by August 15^th.
